Author: Caleb Dec 30,2025

Following its overnight success on Steam, Schedule I continues to receive post-launch updates. The latest, Patch 5, brings the drug dealer simulator to version 0.3.3f14.

Patch 5 introduces several key improvements, but players are most excited about the developer's announcement that Schedule I's first content update will arrive this weekend.

Schedule I is now Steam's top-selling game, surpassing popular titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after going viral on social media, Twitch, and YouTube. Players start as a low-level drug dealer and work their way up to become a kingpin, producing and selling various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. You can grow your criminal empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

The game is developed and published by TVGS, also known as Australian indie developer Tyler, who described Schedule I's explosive launch as 'amazing but quite overwhelming.'

Tyler expressed surprise on Reddit, saying, 'I never expected this kind of response! Right now, I'm focused on releasing patches as quickly as possible. I'm also eager to begin working on content updates once all major bugs are fixed.'

Accordingly, Patch 5 addresses various bugs related to employees, multiplayer, and the casino. Tyler has also added several pathfinding validity checks to help prevent crashes.

Schedule I Update 5 Version 0.3.3f14 Patch Notes:

Enhancements and Improvements

Added an active display setting to select which monitor the game uses. Botanists now automatically transfer products from supplies to drying racks. Owned vehicles are now displayed on the map app. Several validity checks and failsafes have been implemented for NPC pathfinding and warping, which is believed to be a major cause of crashes on some chipsets (credit to Chi Chi on Discord for highlighting this). Employee item movement behavior has been refined for better efficiency. NPC effects are now culled at a distance to boost performance.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where non-host clients could sometimes not hit or stand in blackjack. Resolved a quest UI bug that occasionally caused infinite loading screens in multiplayer. Addressed clipboard selections not reassigning without manually clearing the existing selection first (e.g., employee beds, botanist supplies). Fixed the dealer prematurely revealing its hand to non-host players in blackjack. Corrected the janky appearance of the first-person jacket. Fixed the 'Master Chef' achievement being awarded too early. Resolved some property null references that led to multiplayer loading and desync problems. The drying rack's 'dry' button is now non-interactable if the input slot is reserved by an employee. Fixed NPC 'stay in building' behavior that sometimes caused errors for non-host players. Addressed NPC voiceover emitters occasionally throwing null references.

Tyler mentioned that sneak peeks of the first content update will be shared soon.
