Codenamed Project Sabbath, this abandoned title was in development at Warner Bros. Games Montreal following Arkham Knight's 2015 release. The ambitious project promised dual protagonists - a seasoned Bruce Wayne passing the mantle to his son Damian.

Warner Bros ultimately shelved the father-son Batman adventure, redirecting Montreal's team toward 2022's divisive Gotham Knights, which notably excluded both Batmen entirely.

The game's relationship to Arkhamverse continuity remains ambiguous. While Killer Croc's dramatic redesign suggests a fresh interpretation, WB Games Montreal's previous work on canonical prequel Arkham Origins leaves room for debate.
