As Lenovo's flagship laptop line, the Legion 7 boasts a robust full aluminum construction for both the lid and chassis, weighing in at an impressive 4.5 pounds. This specific unit features a rare "Glacier White" finish that I find more appealing than the standard black option. It is equipped with a 16-inch OLED screen offering 2.5K resolution (189 ppi) and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD.

The mobile RTX 5060 outperforms its predecessor, the RTX 4060, by approximately 15%-20% and rivals the performance of an RTX 4070. It supports the latest DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation, significantly boosting gaming performance in supported titles. This GPU pairs excellently with a 1600p display, handling most games at that resolution comfortably. While less demanding titles like Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, Hades 2, or Silksong will run at very high frame rates, achieving a steady 60fps on Cyberpunk 2077 may require some adjustment to the graphics settings.

Why Choose Lenovo?

Lenovo Legion gaming PCs and laptops typically offer superior build quality compared to most other mass-market brands. Lenovo rarely throttles the GPU in its Legion lineup, ensuring you get maximum performance out of your hardware. These laptops are solidly constructed, with many models featuring aluminum lids or full metal chassis, OLED display options even on entry-level models, and highly satisfying keyboards. Current generation models come standard with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Thunderbolt 4 ports. Additionally, Lenovo provides excellent customer support; while the default warranty is one year, you have the option to extend it.
