Lara Croft: Guardian of Light Free Trial Launches on Android

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has released a new mobile update called Try Before You Buy, now accessible on Android and iOS. This gives all players the chance to enjoy the game at no cost. Originally, the mobile version launched in February of this year.

Feral Interactive’s recent update grants access to the first two levels of this isometric action-platformer. Deep in the Mexican jungle, you can replay these two stages as often as you wish.

Within these levels, you’ll fight undead foes, evade ancient traps, and solve environmental puzzles—all aimed at preventing Xolotl, the Aztec god of darkness, from shrouding the world in endless night.

Unlock the entire game with a single in-app purchase of $9.99. This opens levels 3 to 14, plus twelve additional bonus stages.

All progress and scores from the trial version transfer seamlessly into the full game. You can revisit earlier areas to hunt collectibles and improve high scores. Plus, you can upgrade Lara’s gear and relics, enhancing her combat performance.

Guide Lara past deadly traps

The game blends intense combat with environmental navigation. Swing across chasms, navigate temple halls, and brave swamp ruins and volcanic caves. You control Lara with her signature dual pistols using a twin-stick scheme.
