Orna RPG Launches NatureBlight to Boost Eco Awareness

Orna: the GPS RPG is gearing up for another major event – Natureblight. This new chapter launches on May 30th, 2025 and continues through June 14th as part of Terra's Legacy, challenging players to combat environmental threats once more.

Orna's Natureblight Introduces a Dark New Foe: The Great Murk
Northern Forge Studios continues its environmental focus with Natureblight, weaving conservation themes into Orna's GPS-based gameplay. This marks their second participation in the Green Game Jam, backed by the Playing for the Planet Alliance.

The event transports players to seven real-world locations facing ecological crises, each guarded by an animal spirit representing their endangered habitats. Journey through Canada's Prince Edward County with the Beaver, explore Oceania's Coral Reefs, and trek Uganda's misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest alongside Mountain Gorillas.

Other encounters include the Bone Mammoth in France's Dunkerque, Ecuador's Giant Tortoise, China's Giant Panda, and Antarctica's resilient Macaroni Penguin. These guardian spirits become permanent companions after the event concludes.

The Rising Threat of the Great Murk
As players explore, they'll uncover how the Terran civilization devastated their environment through deforestation, pollution, and mass extinctions. Now history repeats as the destructive Great Murk returns, forcing players into an ecological battle royale.

A special Natureblight cosmetic pack through PlanetPlay offers origin town decorations, character sprites, and temporary boosts. Orna: the GPS RPG is available on Google Play Store.
