The future of Disney's Daredevil revival seems uncertain following an intriguing remark from series star Charlie Cox.
During a panel at GalaxyCon, Cox referred to the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again—scheduled for Disney+ in 2026—as the show's "final season." This hints that, despite the long-awaited return of Daredevil, fans might only get these two seasons.
However, the situation may not be so clear-cut. Enter Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio, who, in his characteristic style, has suggested there is still hope for the series to continue—even if nothing is guaranteed at this stage.
While discussing his new Daredevil suit during a GalaxyCon appearance (filmed and shared on TikTok), Cox calls the second season of Born Again the show's last outing.
"We do something in this final season that isn't in the comics, so it's unique to our show," Cox states.
Seeking clarification, fans brought the comment to Wilson Fisk himself, Vincent D'Onofrio, who this morning posted the following on X: "Good chance there will be a third."

Daredevil: Born Again has been one of the most anticipated Marvel series on Disney+, with Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil remaining a fan-favorite among dedicated viewers. However, it's uncertain how well the first season resonated with a broader audience.
Much like Matt Murdock, the show has grappled with its identity, evolving into a hybrid between Marvel's original plans for a fresh start and later additions that tied it more closely to the original Netflix series.
The forthcoming second season—now potentially its last—will be the first developed from the outset with its Netflix history firmly in mind, including the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. At the very least, D'Onofrio's comment offers a glimmer of hope for more, though it may hinge on the reception of next year's new episodes.
