Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, offers exciting rewards and progression milestones. This pass complements the upcoming Unova-themed event, featuring Gen 5 Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.
The Pokémon GO Tour, an annual event celebrating a specific Pokémon region, returns this year focusing on Unova. Previous Tours have highlighted Kanto and Sinnoh, introducing new Shiny Pokémon and special variants.
This year's Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm local time, offers both free and deluxe options. Players earn Tour Points by completing tasks like catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. These points unlock Minor and Major milestones, rewarding players with items like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 pm.
Pokémon GO Tour Pass Options:
- Free Pass: Provides a base set of rewards earned through gameplay.
- Deluxe Pass ($14.99): Unlocks all free and paid rewards, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a Lucky Trinket. This single-use item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. A premium version with 10 pre-unlocked ranks is also available for $19.99. Deluxe Pass rewards and the Lucky Trinket expire on March 9th at 6 pm.
The Unova Tour Pass adds extra excitement to the event, promising the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion and Shiny Meloetta through a ticketed Masterwork Research.
