Pellen also commented on the article with "mmmm tasty," prompting a flurry of fan comments connecting the cake to Silksong. One fan even vowed to bake the cake if Silksong news emerged by April 2nd, 2025, while another playfully noted the cake's "silky texture," mirroring the game's title.
