EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering a first glimpse into the development of the next Battlefield game and early access opportunities. This program invites players to actively participate in shaping the future of the franchise. Here's how to get involved.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is a new initiative designed to gather crucial player feedback. Selected participants will gain access to early, pre-release gameplay sessions ("step inside the war room"). This allows direct interaction with in-development content and the opportunity to provide valuable feedback to EA's Battlefield Studios.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be chosen, with plans for expansion to other regions and a significantly larger player base in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing: Key Differences

Unlike traditional beta tests, Battlefield Labs provides access to work-in-progress game builds. Expect a higher frequency of bugs, unfinished elements, and potential technical issues compared to a typical beta.

EA seeks feedback on core gameplay mechanics, map design, balance, and more. To ensure confidentiality, participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Public sharing of information is strictly prohibited.
