PUBG Mobile Global Open Begins with 100,000+ Competitors

The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor registration—the year's first international PUBG Mobile Esports event. Open Qualifiers, starting February 13th, provide a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and compete for a coveted spot in the Main Event.

A substantial $500,000 prize pool is up for grabs, demanding teams demonstrate exceptional prowess across multiple qualification rounds before facing off against established esports organizations. This amateur-only tournament ensures fresh talent takes center stage.

Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, promising teams will vie for a place in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll clash with top performers from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

Twelve teams will ultimately earn the chance to challenge PUBG Mobile's elite professionals in the PMGO Main Event. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event berths based on their impressive PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
