Akupara Games has been prolific lately, releasing several titles. Following their deck-building game, Zoeti, comes The Darkside Detective, a puzzle game, and its sequel, The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark (both released simultaneously!).

Exploring the World of The Darkside Detective

The game opens on a misty, ominous night in Twin Lakes, a city where the strange and surreal are commonplace. Players control Detective Francis McQueen and his partner, Officer Patrick Dooley, the endearingly inept duo of the Darkside Division – a severely underfunded branch of the Twin Lakes Police Department.

You'll solve nine quirky cases, navigating the humorous and bizarre world of The Darkside Detective and its equally witty sequel. These point-and-click adventures present a diverse range of challenges, from time travel puzzles and monstrous tentacles to uncovering carnival secrets and battling mafia zombies.
