Nintendo Adding Wario Land 4 to Nintendo Switch Online Library

Get ready for some Wario-sized fun! Nintendo is bringing the acclaimed Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library on February 14th.

A newly released trailer showcases the return of the greedy Wario, embarking on a treasure hunt within a cursed pyramid. The synopsis teases a perilous adventure filled with riches, perilous traps, and plenty of Wario's signature antics.

Expect 20 expansive levels brimming with challenges and hidden treasures. Players can use their hard-earned gold to purchase bonus items and unwind with engaging mini-games between stages.

Originally released in 2001, Wario Land 4 received critical acclaim, notably earning a 9/10 rating from IGN, who praised its diverse level design and challenging gameplay that deviates from typical side-scrolling adventures. The game's unique puzzle elements require players to think strategically to navigate each level.

This marks the 24th Game Boy Advance title added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, joining a roster of classics including Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. Existing subscribers with the Expansion Pack will gain access to Wario Land 4 at no additional cost.
