Netflix Unveils First DLC for Rise of the Golden Idol: The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's Rise of the Golden Idol is set to enhance its mobile gaming experience with the release of its first DLC, The Sins of New Wells, on March 4th. This exciting addition will be available not only on mobile devices but also on PC and consoles. For mobile users, the best part is that it comes at no additional cost, thanks to Netflix Gaming.

What's in Store?

Prepare for an even deeper dive into mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. The setting of New Wells introduces a new level of urban chaos and corruption. Homicide detective Roy Samson finds himself transferred to the notorious 9th District, a place where justice is a rare commodity. Teamed up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, Roy embarks on unraveling a string of brutal crimes, only to uncover a sinister underbelly.

The Sins of New Wells introduces four gripping new cases: Following Orders, Trouble Unleashed, The Raid, and Unraveling. Each case is a complex web of crime, deceit, and mystery. Players will need to interrogate characters who are often less than truthful and solve intricate puzzles to piece together the truth amidst the chaos of New Wells.

Are You a Netflix Subscriber?

If you're a Netflix subscriber, mark your calendars for the launch of The Sins of New Wells on mobile at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on March 4th. Color Gray Games has confirmed this is just the start, with at least four more DLCs planned for 2025. Rise of the Golden Idol has already established itself as a premier modern detective game, and now, with a Netflix subscription, you can enjoy it for free on the Google Play Store.
