DanMachi Battle Chronicle, also known as Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle, has announced its end-of-service (EOS). Developer and publisher Aiming confirmed the shutdown of this 3D action RPG today.
When Will DanMachi Battle Chronicle Shut Down?
The servers will officially close on September 29, 2025. After this date, the game will no longer be downloadable from the Google Play Store, App Store, or PC (Windows version). Player support for all platforms will also terminate simultaneously.
All purchases of Paid Selas will be disabled after the July 30 maintenance. However, players can continue using existing in-game currency until shutdown. Refund requests for unused Paid Selas will be accepted between September 29 and December 28.
The official Discord server will cease operations on July 31. The "Join the Community" mission will be removed from the Options menu later that month. Event tokens from the Training Camp will also expire after the final event concludes.
An offline version is in development for Japanese Android and iOS users, though with restricted functionality. Japanese players may transfer partial account progress before EOS.
Final Anniversary Event Approaches
Originally launched in August 2023 following its July announcement, DanMachi Battle Chronicle will conclude shortly after its second anniversary.
The farewell celebration begins July 30 featuring original story content. Unlike previous events, this iteration won't include quests or competitive rankings.
A commemorative limited-edition Scene Card will be distributed during the event. An announcement trailer will premiere on July 21.
This follows the February 2024 closure of DanMachi Memoria Freese after seven years of operation, signaling shorter lifespans for gacha RPGs.
The game remains available for download via the Google Play Store until termination.
