Mortal Kombat Mobile Launches Special Anniversary Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile celebrates its 10th anniversary, and Warner Bros. International and NetherRealm Studios are marking the occasion with a massive update. Launching on March 25, this update introduces new fighters, a reimagined Faction Wars, a fresh challenge tower, and a host of anniversary rewards.

Celebrate a Decade of Fast-Paced, Brutal Kombat!

A major highlight is the debut of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. He commands a versatile array of abilities, including power absorption, healing, and even damage reflection. To unlock him, players must earn rewards in the new Realm Klash or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Klassic Skarlet also joins the roster as the first gold-tier fighter capable of full ascension to Level 5. She features unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the power to steal blood droplets from opponents. She is obtainable via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard one.

Faction Wars has been overhauled and renamed Realm Klash. Moving beyond the pursuit of Blood Rubies, players can now align with one of five distinct realms and compete over two-week seasons to earn Realm Points.

The 10th Anniversary update adds new competitive ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs have been refreshed to include new Kameo offers and MK1 Geras rewards. The mode also receives a visual upgrade, new banners, enhanced leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme test of skill. This limited-time event runs for two weeks and features 50 challenging floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, while MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receive their own Brutality equipment sets.

A Fusion Boost modifier is also introduced, temporarily powering up the lowest-fused card on your team to help balance the competition. Alongside this new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are returning.

In celebration of this major milestone, valuable gifts are being distributed. Starting April 1st, players will receive one free copy of a featured anniversary character daily for ten days. Furthermore, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
