All Monsters in R.E.P.O.
Animal
Threat Level: Low
The Animal is fast but weak, offering little resistance and easily dispatched.
Apex Predator (Duck)
Threat Level: Low
Unless provoked, the Apex Predator poses no threat. For easy cash, lure it to the extraction zone and crush it with the piston.
Bang
Threat Level: Medium
This explosive enemy rushes and detonates upon detection or attack. Safely dispose of it by throwing it into water, lava, or acid. It can also be used to damage other monsters.
Bowtie
Threat Level: Low
A Bowtie's scream incapacitates movement, pushing you backward. While harmless itself, this can lead to environmental damage. Its slow movement and immobility while screaming make it vulnerable to attacks. Approach stealthily when it's not alert.
Chef
Threat Level: Medium
The Chef's predictable attack pattern—a slashing jump—leaves it off-balance after a dodge, creating an opening to strike.
Clown
Threat Level: High
A dangerous foe wielding a height-adjusting laser beam and a melee charge. It stuns briefly after firing its laser, providing a fleeting window for attack or escape.
Gnome
Threat Level: Low
Gnomes, often found in groups, prioritize loot destruction over player harm. Their weakness allows for easy elimination by picking them up and slamming them against a wall or floor.
Headman
Threat Level: Low
This floating head is largely harmless unless provoked by light.
Hidden
Threat Level: Medium
Appearing as a black smoke cloud, the Hidden grabs players, stunning them and causing item drops. Its ability to pull you towards other enemies makes it a serious threat. Its elusive nature makes direct confrontation difficult; hiding is often the best strategy.
Huntsman
Threat Level: Medium
Blind but sound-reactive, the Huntsman fires a potentially lethal shotgun blast upon hearing noise. Its predictable patrol route allows for easy avoidance. Direct confrontation is strongly discouraged.
Mentalist
Threat Level: Medium
This alien-like floating enemy activates an anti-gravity field, levitating and then slamming nearby objects (including players) to the ground. Its teleportation ability adds to its difficulty. It's vulnerable to melee attacks, and other players can help by pulling you from the anti-gravity field.
Reaper
Threat Level: Medium
Slow, deaf, and easily avoided, the Reaper is nonetheless powerful. Ranged attacks are the most effective method.
Robe
Threat Level: High
Fast and aggressive, Robe enters a frenzy when directly looked at, significantly increasing its speed and damage. Avoid direct eye contact and hide until it moves on; direct combat is ill-advised due to its high health.
Rugrat
Threat Level: Low
While seemingly harmless, Rugrat throws valuable items at players if spotted but flees if empty-handed. Killing it requires multiple players to lift and smash it.
Spewer
Threat Level: Medium
This tadpole-like enemy chases players, vomiting damaging projectiles. Grabbing and shaking it causes it to flee. Its vomit can also damage enemies.
Shadow Child
Threat Level: Low
Despite its creepy appearance, the Shadow Child is easily one-shot with most weapons.
Trudge
Threat Level: High
Slow but deadly, Trudge pulls players close before delivering a potentially fatal mace blow. It can also pull you from hiding places. Avoidance is the recommended strategy.
Upscream
Threat Level: Medium
Often found in groups, Upscreams grab and throw players, causing damage and stun. They are vulnerable to most attacks, but the tranquilizer gun is particularly effective for stunning, allowing for a grab-and-slam finish.
