Marvel Rivals Gets Suit from PlayStation's Spider-Man 2 Later This Month

Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is joining the game as a new skin!

PlayStation made the announcement via an X/Twitter post, showcasing NetEase Games' interpretation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter.

This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol sets it apart. This collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a pleasant surprise. Get ready to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts numerous unlockable suits, but this Spidey suit stands out. Its connection to the immensely popular PlayStation series, and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (Peter Parker), adds to its appeal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and also lends his voice to Marvel Rivals' version. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will find it familiar and effective.

Adding Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 provides players with another exciting addition to the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls content released last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.
