MapleStory Worlds is now available on mobile and PC in the Americas and Europe

MapleStory Worlds, the latest addition to the popular Nexon franchise, is now available in the Americas and Europe! This new title allows players to build their own experiences using a range of tools and assets from the MapleStory universe.

For MapleStory fans, this simultaneous launch across North America and Europe is a welcome surprise. Following a soft launch in late 2024, MapleStory Worlds is officially available on mobile and PC. Essentially a MapleStory-themed Roblox, the game allows for creation of side-scrolling adventures, ranging from classic RPGs to shooting games and social experiences.

Cross-platform play between mobile and PC is a key feature. While Nexon highlights monetization opportunities for creators, the main draw for many will be the chance to recreate classic MapleStory experiences using enhanced tools.

A World of Possibilities

While intrigued, I remain somewhat cautious about MapleStory Worlds. The game's charming pixel art is undeniably appealing, yet widespread fan enthusiasm seems limited. However, the variety of experiences offered, from platformers to zombie survival games, might make it a more appealing standalone title. Its success will depend on player reception following its full launch.
