Roblox's Rivals Update 9 introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map

The popular Roblox first-person shooter, Rivals, has received Update 9, featuring a new weapon and map. Developer Nosniy Games focused this update on adding the creative Gunblade and the Bridge map, opting to postpone other planned tweaks for a future update.

The Gunblade is a dual-purpose weapon, functioning as both a ranged rifle and a melee blade, offering strategic versatility. The new Bridge map, created by @GreatGuyBoom and set in Seoul, is a close-quarters combat arena built on a suspended concrete structure, promising intense, fast-paced gameplay.

While this update prioritizes the new content, Nosniy Games confirmed minor adjustments to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins and renamed some weapons (Hexxed to Vexed). The developers emphasized that bug fixes, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements will be included in the next major update, which will also introduce the highly anticipated Ranked mode. They assured players that community feedback is being considered for these upcoming changes.

New Map: The Bridge map, an arena-style duel zone in Seoul, Korea, created by @GreatGuyBoom.

New Special Challenges: A new set of challenges replacing the Winter Spotlight, offering keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm for completion on the Bridge map.

Other: Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins; renaming of Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed, respectively.
