EA Play Drops Two Games from Subscription Service

EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025

EA Play subscribers should take note: two popular titles are departing the service in February 2025. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify the complete closure of these games; online multiplayer functionality will remain active for now. However, this is a reminder to enjoy these titles while they're still accessible through EA Play.

Adding to the February 2025 changes, UFC 3's online services will cease operation on February 17th. The game's continued availability on EA Play remains uncertain, but its core online features will be unavailable after this date.

Games Leaving EA Play:

  • Madden NFL 23 – February 15th
  • F1 22 – February 28th

While this news might disappoint some, EA Play subscribers can still enjoy newer installments in these franchises. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will remain available, and UFC 5 is even joining the lineup on January 14th. The addition of newer titles helps mitigate the loss of older games from the subscription service. The removal of games is a common occurrence with subscription services, but EA Play continues to offer a diverse and regularly updated catalog.
