Celebrate Like a Dragon's 20th Anniversary with RGG Studio's Merchandise Voting Project!

RGG Studio is giving fans a voice in shaping the commemoration of the Like a Dragon (LAD) franchise's 20th anniversary, slated for December 2025. A unique fan-voting project allows players to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world merchandise.

One hundred diverse items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's iconic dragon mask. The winning item, determined by fan votes, is guaranteed to be produced and released within two years. Voting runs from February 8th, 2025, to March 21st, 2025, with one vote permitted per day. A subsequent survey will finalize the design of the winning merchandise.

Anticipation Builds for More Yakuza Remakes?

RGG Studio initially hinted at grand 20th-anniversary plans in a December 8th, 2024, Twitter (X) post. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed gratitude to fans and promised various events and announcements leading up to the milestone. The merchandise voting project is the first step in this celebration. Given the remakes released during the 10th anniversary (Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami), fans are eagerly anticipating similar announcements for the 20th.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements Revealed!

RGG Studio recently unveiled the PC requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, confirming that an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent will suffice for recommended settings, making it accessible to a wide range of gaming PCs. The game's availability on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One further underscores its broad accessibility. Steam Deck verification has also been confirmed. A story trailer, narrated by Samoa Joe as Pirate King Raymond Law, has been released on YouTube.
