Battlefield Labs will initially focus on testing fundamental gameplay pillars: combat, destruction, weapon balance, vehicle performance, gadget effectiveness, and overall map and mode design. This includes refining existing modes like Conquest and Breakthrough.

  • Conquest: Large-scale battles centered around capturing control points (flags). Teams compete with limited tickets, lost upon respawning or enemy flag control.
  • Breakthrough: Asymmetrical warfare where attackers strive to capture sectors while defenders resist. A ticket system is in place, with attackers regaining tickets upon sector capture and bonus tickets for eliminating remaining enemy soldiers.

Further development will also concentrate on refining the class system, aiming for optimal balance between functionality and player experience. Battlefield Studios emphasizes the importance of player feedback in achieving this goal.
