Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing the departure of others. The month of January promises an exciting mix of new releases and returning favorites for subscribers.

New Games Joining the Roster:

Microsoft officially announced seven new games joining Xbox Game Pass in January 2025. Road 96, a choice-driven adventure, leads the charge, available now across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). Six additional titles will arrive later in the month:

• Road 96: Available January 7th (All Tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• My Time at Sandrock: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• Rolling Hills: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• UFC 5: Available January 14th (Ultimate Only)
• Diablo: Available January 14th (Ultimate & PC Game Pass)

The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks, though access is tiered. Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate-only title. The remaining games are accessible with a standard subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate Perks:

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departing Games:

The arrival of new games means some are leaving. Six titles will depart Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
