WoW Announces Anniversary Currency Redemption Extension

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, allowed players to accumulate Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.

Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting the automatic conversion in Patch 11.1. This prevents players from having unusable currency cluttering their inventory.

While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 is unavailable, February 25th is a strong possibility, considering the timing of other in-game events (Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways). This means the token conversion will likely happen after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges, however, remain valuable for future Timewalking events, ensuring players aren't losing out on potential rewards.
