The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is anticipated in late 2025, introducing new endgame content and the next chapter of this expansion. However, Patch 11.0.7 introduces several quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, though it wasn't immediately available upon patch launch.

Dalaran, a long-standing location in Warcraft lore, may not recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides closure and a fitting farewell to this crucial social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue

Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required. However, completing prior story content is recommended to avoid spoilers and enhance understanding. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign comprises:

• Standing in the Way
• No Breathing Room
• Together, Alone
• The Voice
• Ringing in the Deeps
• Good Help These Days
• Hey, What's Going On?
• Haywired and Hostile
• Built to Blast
• Bat Versus World

After "Found Friends," speak with Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the main campaign, offers insights into future plot developments within The War Within or subsequent World Soul Saga expansions.

How to Initiate the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Initially, a three-week delay was implemented for the Dalaran Epilogue. As of January 7th, this restriction has been lifted. However, unlocking this campaign requires completion of both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (unlocked by achieving at least Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).

To verify completion, visit Foundation Hall (the prologue quest starting point for Patch 11.1). If Khadgar is present (after January 7th), a quest will be available. His absence indicates unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list is below:

Completing this campaign unlocks the "Fate of the Kirin Tor" achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
