A playful exchange between the Fortnite Festival account and Hatsune Miku's official account hints at a missing backpack. This playful interaction has fueled speculation about an upcoming event. Rumors point to not only a standard Miku skin and a virtual concert, but also a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

The anticipated launch date is January 14th.

Separately, Epic Games is taking legal action against professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo for using cheat software (aimbot and wallhacks) in a late December tournament. The lawsuit alleges Araujo unfairly won thousands of dollars in prize money, gaining an "unfair edge" over other players who followed the rules.
