Paradox Focusing on Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is facing another delay, now targeting a release in October 2025. The announcement was made on the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insight into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been sharing detailed Dev Diaries over the past few months, keeping players informed about character development, storylines, and gameplay mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries will be paused as the development team shifts its focus to enhancing the game's overall quality.
First Revealed in 2019
Initially unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was originally scheduled for a March 2020 release. The game was initially developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021.

In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and the development would be handed over to The Chinese Room. The release date was then pushed to late 2024, then the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
