How To Unlock the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria

Following the March 10th update to Fields of Mistria, the Fire Seal is now accessible after completing the preceding altars. Unlocking it requires four specific offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's explore how to obtain each item.

Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem

This rare artifact is located within the game's mines. Ensure you have the updated game version and delve into the mines, specifically floors 50-59. We discovered it on floor 56 after some digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked ground locations. Be prepared for a potential grind, as it's a relatively uncommon find.

Where to Find Rockroot

Rockroot is a common forageable plant found on mine floors 50-59. If you've spent time mining, you may already possess one. Look for a dark, root-like plant (as pictured above). Only one is needed to complete the Priestess' altar.

Where to Find an Emerald

Emeralds are the easiest offering to acquire. Find Emerald geodes on mine floors 50-59. They are relatively common. Alternatively, break large boulders around Mistria, check Balor's Wagon (they cost 200 tesserae), or craft them at the Stone Refinery (unlocked with the March 2025 update).

How to Get the Sealing Scroll

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the seal. You'll then enlist Balor's help, requiring these materials:

• 10 Silver Ingots
• 10 Rubies
• 10 Sapphires
• 10 Emeralds

You likely have these already; otherwise, mine for them. Deposit the materials in the bin near Balor's Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

Once you have the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This unlocks the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more during Early Access.
