Fueling the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake rumors: Singapore's rating board has listed "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release.

This rumored remake, encompassing the next two core entries in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise, is slated for a wide range of platforms. The rating board cites Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S as target systems.

While no official confirmation exists, a countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints at upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, culminating on March 4, 2025.

Adding to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself mentioned renewed discussions with Activision, revealing they're collaborating on a project. He assured fans, "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate."

Following the highly successful 2020 remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, a remake of games 3 and 4 seemed inevitable. However, Activision's 2021 integration of Vicarious Visions (the THPS remake developer) into Blizzard, assigning them to Blizzard projects, created a roadblock.

According to Tony Hawk, plans to develop THPS 3+4 were in place until the release of 1+2. But after Vicarious Visions' absorption, Activision sought alternative developers.

"Activision was trying to find someone to do 3 + 4, but they didn't really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious," Hawk explained in a 2022 Twitch stream. "They got pitches, but didn't like what they heard."

The mystery remains: if a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake is indeed in the works (and the rating suggests it is), who is developing it? The Singaporean rating only lists Activision as both publisher and developer. March 4th appears to be the date for further revelations.
