Popular streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney has urged Twitch to publicly release Dr Disrespect's private messages with a minor. This demand follows Dr Disrespect's June 25th admission of inappropriate conversations with an underage user via Twitch Whispers in 2017, a revelation he linked to his 2020 ban from the platform.

The controversy ignited on June 21st when former Twitch employee Cody Conners alleged Dr Disrespect's ban stemmed from "sexting a minor." Following Dr Disrespect's confession, prominent streamers like Nickmercs and TimTheTatman voiced their disapproval and withdrew their support.

Tfue's Twitter post, advocating for the release of these private messages ("Release the whispers"), has garnered over 36,000 likes, with many users echoing his call for full transparency regarding Dr Disrespect's actions.

A highly influential streamer with millions of followers across platforms like Kick and YouTube, Tfue ended his Twitch career in June 2023 before rejoining the content creation scene on Kick in November. No stranger to controversy himself (facing past criticism for using racial slurs and hunting a wild hog on stream), Tfue's focus here is on Dr Disrespect's accountability.

Dr Disrespect's actions have resulted in significant repercussions, including loss of fan support, severed relationships with fellow streamers, and the termination of sponsorships from companies like Midnight Society and Turtle Beach. Further brand and celebrity disassociations are anticipated.
