Get ready! Smite 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MOBA, launches its free-to-play open beta on January 14, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the Unreal Engine 5-powered game, which entered Alpha in 2024.

This open beta will introduce players to a revamped Smite experience, boasting a significantly expanded roster of Gods, exciting new game modes, and substantial quality-of-life improvements.

Key Features of the Open Beta:

• New God: Aladdin: The first God from the Tales of Arabia pantheon joins the fray on January 14th, bringing his unique Magical Assassin/Jungler playstyle and wall-running abilities.
• Returning Favorites: Popular Gods from the original Smite, such as Mulan, Geb, Ullr, and Agni, make a comeback with updated skill sets.
• Expanded Roster: The initial 14 Gods from the Alpha will grow to nearly 50 by the end of January 2025.
• New Game Modes: Experience the thrill of 3v3 Joust, featuring teleporters and stealth grass on an Arthurian-themed map, and the 1v1 Duel mode, both utilizing the same map.
• Aspects System: Add strategic depth with Aspects, allowing players to trade a God's ability for a powerful bonus. Twenty Gods will initially feature Aspects, with more to come.
