Anticipating a typical 30-second greeting, he instead received over six minutes of deeply compassionate encouragement. Conroy, profoundly touched by the fan's story, went above and beyond a simple response. This video became a lifeline for the fan during incredibly challenging times.

A Reddit post shared this moving story. The fan, deeply affected by Batman: Arkham Knight's ending – where Batman conquers his fears, paranoia, and hallucinations – saw a powerful parallel to his own struggle with schizophrenia. Expressing his gratitude, he shared his condition and how the Dark Knight's journey empowered him.

Expecting a standard Cameo response, he was overwhelmed by Conroy's extensive message of support and understanding.

The fan shared: "This video has saved me from suicide countless times. Hearing Batman say he believed in me was incredibly powerful... But as time went on, it became just as important that it was Kevin himself who believed in me."

Initially hesitant to share the video publicly, the fan's decision changed upon learning of Conroy's own experiences with schizophrenia within his family. He chose to post it, hoping to offer similar solace to others.

He added: "If someone in his family asks me to delete this video, I will of course do so. But it has inspired me in my toughest moments, and maybe it will inspire someone else. Hang in there. Because Batman believes in you."
