The Sony Bravia XR X93L, launched in March 2023, is the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup, just below the X95L, which is only available in an 85" size in the U.S. This model features Mini LED technology, which significantly enhances HDR content. Mini LED uses smaller and more numerous LEDs, allowing for precise control of brightness levels within scenes, improving black levels and contrast ratios.

The X93L is also an excellent choice for gamers. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, which support 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate, ideal for the latest gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Although the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will be limited to 60fps in 4K when docked, it won't require HDMI 2.1.
