Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaked Bangboo Dress-Up Event to Become Permanent Game Mode

New leaks suggest Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update will introduce a permanent Bangboo dress-up game mode, initially launched as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event. This event will focus on customizing outfits for Eous, the game's mascot.

Version 1.4 delivered substantial content, including new S-Rank characters Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being free). Two new permanent combat-focused game modes were also added, providing rewards like Polychrome and Boopon. The upcoming dress-up mode represents a departure from the usual action RPG gameplay, similar to past events like the "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event.

Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, revealed screenshots showcasing various clothing items for Eous customization. While the dress-up mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also offer a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Beyond the dress-up event, further leaks point towards a temporary platformer game mode. This aligns with HoYoverse's trend of adding non-combat permanent game modes in other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG.

Version 1.5 is officially confirmed to introduce S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new chapter in the main storyline. With the January 22nd release date approaching, further details are expected soon.
