Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has relaunched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign, running from January 9th to February 6th, 2025, offers four consecutive days of free gameplay on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
The campaign's timing coincides nicely with the recent release of Patch 7.15, which introduced new side quests, including the continuation of the Hildibrand storyline and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message also teased upcoming content, including Patches 7.2 and 7.3, slated for release in 2025, along with cryptic hints about the Dawntrail storyline's future.
This free period provides an excellent opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on the Dawntrail expansion's content before the release of Patch 7.2. The 96-hour playtime timer begins upon logging into the game launcher.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account.
- An account marked as inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start.
- No prior account suspension or cancellation due to Terms of Service violations.
Players can verify their eligibility through the Mog Station. While the Free Login Campaign is active, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) and anticipate Patch 7.16's release on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series. The future of Dawntrail remains shrouded in mystery, but this free login period offers a perfect chance to rejoin the adventure.
