Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, after several postponements (including a previously announced 2025 target), is now projected to launch in 2026.

Sad Cat Studios, the developers behind Replaced, previously attributed the delays to the game's unique development challenges. The title, first unveiled at Microsoft's E3 2021 showcase, has faced setbacks pushing its release from 2022 to 2023, then 2024, and finally to 2026. Despite the extended development time, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product that meets the considerable expectations generated by the game's early buzz.

While Sad Cat Studios has yet to officially address this latest delay, they have provided periodic updates, including combat footage and a mini-game demonstration earlier this year.
