Pokémon Ecology Encyclopedia
This groundbreaking official Pokémon encyclopedia will delve deeply into the ecology of these beloved creatures, offering a comprehensive examination and analysis from various scientific angles. Pokécology will illuminate key aspects such as diet, sleep patterns, physical characteristics, and the intricate interactions Pokémon have with their environment and each other.
Authored by a team of distinguished experts, including veterinary behaviorists and ecology doctors from the University of Tokyo, Pokécology is a testament to rigorous research and academic excellence. Ecologist Yoshinari Yonehara spearheaded the study of wild Pokémon behaviors, while the talented Chihiro Kino, known for her work on animal ecology illustrations, brings these creatures to life with vibrant, full-color drawings.
While Pokémon has previously published numerous hardcover books focusing on stats, battle techniques, and game guides, Pokécology marks their first venture into exploring the biology and ecology of these iconic characters. This book not only enriches fans' understanding of Pokémon but also serves as an educational resource, particularly for younger audiences, to learn more about the natural world through their favorite creatures.
