Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place in Los Angeles, California (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City, Taiwan (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by the Unova region from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) offering diverse Unova Pokémon encounters. Shiny Deerling variants will appear depending on habitat and time of day.

Trainers can encounter Shiny Meloetta via Masterwork Research, hatch Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and more, and potentially find shiny Pikachu with unique hats through Field Research. Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with increased shiny rates.

Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei City). Add-on tickets offer extra bonuses. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8, respectively), with booths, team lounges, and exclusive merchandise. A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will also occur March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This citywide event takes place in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time). Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!

Receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee at the start. Evolving it (requires 25 Eevee Candy) retains the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hat-wearing Eevee. Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, and Clamperl appear in the wild, with others hatching from eggs (Oricorio, Swablu, Skiddo). Location-specific Pokémon will also appear.

Maps are provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors are available (first-come, first-served). Tickets cost R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong, with add-ons offering extra items and increased Shiny Pokémon chances.
