Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three international cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

More details will be revealed in March, but expect the same level of excitement and exclusive content as previous years. Remember, event details are subject to change.

A Global Event for Trainers

Pokémon GO Fest offers exclusive items, unique gameplay, and incredible bonuses for trainers worldwide. In-person events feature city-specific activities and encounters. Ticket purchase is required for all participation.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters not found in regular gameplay. Think along the lines of Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow (as seen in 2024). Shiny Pokémon will also have increased appearance rates.

In-person attendees can enjoy exclusive merchandise, habitat-themed goodies, community hubs, and team lounges.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two exciting January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia, encounter new Pokémon Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12 km Eggs), and discover other Shadow Pokémon. Look out for a stylish Croagunk!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Challenge five-star Shadow Raids for a chance to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL odds, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their Shadow Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
