Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Style Statement with Shadowy Surprises!

Get ready for a stylish showdown in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, blending high fashion with intense battles against Team GO Rocket. This event presents a unique opportunity to challenge Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia.

New Pokémon Debuts:

Two new Pokémon are making their debut: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs.

Shadow Pokémon Encounters:

Prepare for an influx of Shadow Pokémon, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Some lucky trainers might even encounter Shiny versions! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes can be used to participate in Shadow Raids, regardless of location.

Special Research & Rewards:

A special research task will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, culminating in a battle with Giovanni. Field Research tasks will also offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a Collection Challenge grants Stardust and a Trubbish encounter. Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day:

On January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, participate in Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day. This event features increased Raid Pass availability, boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance to teach Ho-Oh the Charged Attack Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks additional rewards.
