In a recent interview, Mizobe discussed the hurdles in porting Palworld to the Switch, citing demanding PC specifications. While discussions about new platforms are ongoing, no concrete announcements regarding a Switch release, or other platforms like PlayStation or mobile, are currently available. Earlier statements confirmed explorations into expanding to additional platforms. However, Pocketpair has clarified that they haven't engaged in buyout discussions with Microsoft.

Despite the technical challenges, Mizobe remains optimistic about expanding Palworld's reach.

Mizobe also shared his vision for enhancing Palworld's multiplayer aspects. An upcoming arena mode, described as an experiment, will pave the way for more robust multiplayer features. His goal is to incorporate elements reminiscent of popular survival games like Ark and Rust, aiming for a more comprehensive PvP mode. These games are known for their challenging environments, intricate resource management, and extensive player interaction, including alliances and tribal dynamics.
