NieR: Automata Resource Farming: Maximizing Dented Plate Acquisition
While resource abundance varies in NieR: Automata, the demand for materials, especially for weapon upgrades, remains high. Dented Plates, a frequently required component, can be efficiently farmed using several strategies.
Efficient Dented Plate Farming Locations
Dented Plates are commonly dropped by:
- Small Biped (all variants)
- Small Flyer (all variants)
- Small Sphere (all variants)
These ubiquitous enemies are prevalent throughout the game. However, relying solely on random encounters isn't optimal.
The most efficient farming location is the arena where Adam is first encountered in the main storyline.
- Fast travel to the Desert: Housing Complex access point.
- Proceed deeper into the ruins and descend to the pit.
- Enemies, primarily Small Bipeds, continuously respawn, providing a consistent Dented Plate source. This location also yields Titanium Alloy.
Alternative Farming Locations
For varied gameplay, consider the Forest Kingdom. Groups of spear-wielding Bipeds frequently drop Dented Plates. This area also offers opportunities to collect Beast Hide. Note that higher-level Bipeds yield a greater chance of dropping Dented Plates; progressing the story increases both enemy level and the likelihood of obtaining this resource.
Optimizing Drop Rates
Equipping drop-rate enhancing plug-in chips significantly boosts Dented Plate acquisition. Remember to avoid death, as this results in permanent chip loss.
