Monster Hunter Gets Dimension-Hopping DLC & Collaborates with MrBeast

Get ready for a summer showdown! Niantic and YouTube sensation MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) have teamed up for an epic Monster Hunter Now adventure. Starting July 27th, players can embark on an exclusive MrBeast-themed quest, earning unique rewards and a powerful weapon.

The MrBeast Hunt Begins!

MrBeast himself is thrilled about this collaboration, and Niantic's live-action trailer, urging players to "Hunt Anywhere," is a must-see. The event runs from July 27th to September 2nd, offering ample time to collect all the limited-time items.

Exclusive rewards include MrBeast Layered Equipment, face paint, a Guild Card Background, and a Hunter Medal. Players will also earn Season Tier Points, Zenny, and Rare Monster materials. The highlight? The coveted MrBeast Sword & Shield! Collect MrBeast Briefcases throughout the event to upgrade this weapon to Grade 6, then use standard materials for further enhancements.

A Major Update Arrives!

Alongside the MrBeast event, Niantic is releasing a significant Monster Hunter Now update featuring the new Dimensional Link. This innovative feature simplifies global team-ups, connecting hunters worldwide.

Special monsters marked with an upside-down green triangle on your map indicate Dimensional Link opportunities. Tapping one will place you in a lobby to battle alongside international players. This is especially beneficial for players in less populated areas, enabling cooperative hunts without the usual limitations. While Paintballing these specific monsters won't be possible, the advantages of group hunting remain.
