Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, and with it comes the confirmation of a beloved yet controversial feature from the original game: the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, first seen in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA, but in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body, but unlocking this mode requires collecting all other cutscenes through four complete playthroughs of the game.

The Mature rating reflects the game's intense themes, including violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory. The return of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," has caught many fans by surprise, given its explicit and controversial nature.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant gameplay improvement, MGS Delta introduces a faster camouflage system. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on X (formerly Twitter) on March 28 showcased this new feature, stating, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER." The footage reveals that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a stark contrast to the original game's cumbersome process. In Metal Gear Solid 3, changing camouflage involved pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting from the Camo section, which often disrupted the game's pacing and immersion, particularly during stealth missions.

As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, anticipation builds for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The game, set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, promises to bring back iconic features while enhancing the player experience with quality-of-life improvements.
