Marvel Snap's first Spotlight Cache card of 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing character that boosts the Power of cards generated in your hand. While often considered a core card for card-generation decks, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two strong deck builds for Victoria Hand, one for each archetype, allowing you to adapt her to the current metagame.

The Best Deck for Victoria Hand

For a powerful card-generation deck, pair Victoria Hand with Devil Dinosaur. This core duo synergizes brilliantly with Quinjet, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Cosmo, The Collector, Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl.

Consider Iron Patriot, Mystique, and Speed as flexible replacements for Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Frigga.

Victoria Hand Deck Synergies

  • Victoria Hand enhances cards added to your hand by generators.
  • Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl generate cards. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards, boosting buffs or disrupting opponents.)
  • Quinjet discounts generated cards, enabling more plays.
  • The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
  • Cosmo provides tech support, protecting Devil Dino and Victoria Hand from attacks.
  • Devil Dinosaur is your win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with many generated cards.

There are reports suggesting Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or cards that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended behavior remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text needs clarification, as it specifies "your" hand. This warrants attention when using Victoria Hand decks.

How to Play Victoria Hand Effectively

Playing a Victoria Hand deck effectively requires:

  1. Balancing Card Generation and Energy: Aim for a full hand for optimal Devil Dinosaur growth, while managing energy for card generation and Victoria's effect. Sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is crucial.
  2. Using Joker Cards Strategically: Victoria Hand decks produce random cards. Use these strategically as decoys to mislead your opponent.
  3. Protecting Your Ongoing Lane: Opponents often target Victoria Hand with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane, protecting them with Cosmo.

Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand

Victoria Hand also finds a place in refined discard decks. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

How to Counter Victoria Hand

Super Skrull is a strong counter to Victoria Hand. He also benefits from Doctor Doom 2099 decks, making him a versatile tech card.

Other counters include Shadow King (removes Victoria's buffs in one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can disrupt Power distribution in key lanes.

Is 'Victoria Hand' Worth It?

Victoria Hand is a valuable card. Her consistent buffs and adaptability to different archetypes (card-generation and discard) make her a strong addition to many decks. While reliant on some RNG, her overall power makes her a worthwhile investment.
