Marvel Rivals Season 1: A Double-Sized Launch with the Fantastic Four

Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," is set to launch on January 10th at 1 AM PST, boasting double the content of a typical season. This expanded content is attributed to the developers' decision to introduce the Fantastic Four simultaneously.

This supersized season will introduce three new maps based on iconic New York City locations: the Sanctum Sanctorum (launching with Season 1 and featuring the new Doom Match mode), Midtown (for Convoy missions), and Central Park (details to be revealed later).

The initial launch will feature Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) from the Fantastic Four. The Thing and Human Torch are slated for a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. While the developers haven't specified how this larger-than-usual season will affect future content releases, it's currently assumed that the pattern of adding two new heroes/villains per season will continue.

Despite the excitement surrounding Season 1, the absence of Blade has disappointed some fans. However, the possibility of his future inclusion remains open. With the abundance of new content and ongoing speculation, Marvel Rivals' future looks bright.
