Balance Adjustments:
Season 1 introduces several balance changes designed to address community feedback:
- Nerfs: Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant characters, receive nerfs to reduce their overall power.
- Buffs: Mobility-focused Vanguards, including Captain America and Venom, receive buffs to enhance their effectiveness in aggressive playstyles. Wolverine, Storm, and Cloak and Dagger also see improvements to encourage diverse team compositions and strategies.
- Jeff the Land Shark: Adjustments will be made to better align his early warning indicators with his ultimate ability's hitbox. While his ultimate's power level is under review, no significant changes have been announced.
Seasonal Bonuses:
NetEase Games hasn't yet addressed changes to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players who believe its removal would improve overall balance.
Season 1 promises a substantial update to Marvel Rivals, introducing exciting new content and addressing player concerns regarding balance. The community eagerly anticipates the launch.
