NetEase Games keeps Marvel Rivals fresh with regular updates. Expect new content roughly every six weeks, including two new heroes each quarter, ensuring consistent engagement.

Game director Guangyun Chen revealed a two-part seasonal update structure: one hero debuts in the first half, followed by another in the second. This strategy maintains player interest. Beyond heroes, updates will feature new maps, storylines, and objectives.

Previously announced characters include the upcoming Blade and leaked Altron. The full Fantastic Four team's addition was also recently revealed.

GameLook reported Marvel Rivals generated approximately $100 million globally, with a significant portion from China. This marks a substantial move for Marvel into gaming, leveraging its film industry dominance.
