Ubisoft appears to be grappling with a series of unfortunate leaks concerning its unannounced game, Project U. Gameplay leaks first emerged in 2022, shortly after the project entered its closed beta phase. These leaks have resurfaced two years later, indicating that Project U is still in development. Recently, following what seems to be a reboot of the game's development, an introductory cinematic has been leaked online.

The origin and authenticity of this cinematic have yet to be officially verified. It was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for his history of leaking gaming content. Weber has suggested that more videos from Project U could surface if the game remains in development for an extended period.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, taking inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. According to the leaked footage, the game's narrative centers around an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of chosen individuals tasked with fighting this extraterrestrial menace.

As of now, Ubisoft has not provided any official information regarding the formal announcement of Project U.
