Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing gameplay and enhancing overall quality. While initial speculation suggested a 2024 release, the target date is now set for next year. The remake will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating updated game mechanics and significantly improved visuals. Okamura also hinted at the inclusion of new features designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
